Duck camp cast and blast the third week of October 2022 and a little later if the weather holds

exact dates will be set after the season dates are set by the DNR.

Plentiful wood ducks local mallards,teal and on occasion Canada geese will fill your morning before heading back to camp where breakfast is waiting.From there you will have the option of fishing the lower Wisconsin river for small mouth bass and walleyes with some of the most successful fishing guides in the state or an upland bird hunt at one of our local shooting preserves.Of course just hanging around camp to relax is also a possibility.Lunch will be served at camp or in the boat.After your afternoon adventure back to camp to make evening plans.Back to duck hunt if you haven't limited out or maybe some more fishing.An evening feast will be prepared at camp and we will finish out the nite around the camp fire before retiring to your comfortable cot in a roomy wall tent with heat should we need it.

a preserve upland hunt may be added or replace one of the other activities at an additional charge.

 Small mouth and walleyes are a Wally Banfi guide service specialty but don't be supprized when something else slams the bait. Last year 9 different species were caught in one afternoon.Wally's web site may be found by clicking on their name.

Upland Bird Preserve Hunt.

Northern Wisconsin Grouse and Woodcock.

hunts will be conducted in northern wis based out of the Medford area but we go where the birds are. Your guides will be Scott Murphy and or Brian Stichter and you will be hunting over excellent English pointers or superb flushing labs your choice.You will have the option of hunting walking trails and forestry roads, or go bush wacking to some secret honey holes deep in the north woods. Half day hunts start at 8:00 am till noon or 12:30 till close of shooting hours. Cost is 300.00 for 2 gunners beverages and bird cleaning included. Full day hunts start at 8:00 am till close of shooting hours with lunch, beverages and bird cleaning provided cost is 500.00 for 2 guns.Lodging can be arranged and we have 2 additional guides available for larger groups.Waterfowl combo hunt available.

Lower Wisconsin River WaterWaterfowl.

The lower Wisconsin river from the Sauk dam to the Mississippi river at Wyalusing state park is full of water fowling opportunity's from early season teal, wood ducks and giant Canada geese to late season divers and mallards you just never know whats going to drop in. We use layout blinds,land blinds and boat blinds from 13 to 19 feet powered by mud motors to navigate the sand and rocks of the main river and the cattail and lily infested sloughs and beaver ponds of the back waters.Your guides will be Brian, Scott or Jon each handling a titled experienced lab.

What To Bring For Your Waterfowl Hunt

For your hunt you will need waders, shotgun, shells and usually a camo hat and coat. Face paint or a head net will sometimes be required. Hunt start times vary as we are continually scouting and travel times to hunting spots changes. Most shooting occurs early so most hunts end by 11:00 am but that also may change with the birds or weather. The cost is 150.00 per gun 2 gun minimum. Bird cleaning and beverages provided. Lodging can also be arranged.
